Information you provide directly

That includes your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the pages you view, the time and date of each visit, the referring URL (the page that linked you to us), and similar usage data. We use trusted third parties to operate the Site and respond to your inquiries: Vercel (hosting and content delivery), Resend (transactional email delivery), Cloudflare Turnstile (bot and abuse protection on our forms), Upstash (rate limiting to prevent abuse), and Sentry (error monitoring). If you consent to analytics, we also use an analytics provider. These providers process information only on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it.
• Project counterparties. If you engage GEC for a project, we may share necessary information with utility partners (ComEd, Ameren), equipment suppliers, financing partners, or municipal permitting authorities to deliver the project you have authorized.
• Legal compliance. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of GEC, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers. If GEC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to confidentiality protections.
